
Colombian-American artist born in Bogotá, Colombia on March 20, 1956. As a visual artist he has worked mainly in painting and printmaking. He has run his own printing and publishing workshop, Taller Gonzalez-Cerón in Bogotá, from 1981 to present. He established himself in the United States since 1996, and after living in New York City, he moved to Maryland where he joined Pyramid Atlantic and became a staff member. He served as a Resident Artist- Master Printer for five years. During the last 20 years he has carried out multiple print projects working in close collaboration with over 300 hundred artists from all around the world. Former President of the Latin American Printmakers Association (AAGL), an institution based in Bogotá, Colombia (2008-2016). He is currently the Director of the Foundation Casa Ceron in Bogotá, Colombia.
